i just wrapped up on a great project with the high school students here in walsenburg. it was an interesting collaboration between myself and 30+ students from design to install. as a semester project we completed the home side of the sports complex. it was a  great learning experience for some of the kids and me for sure.

when you have a $800 budget for 60 kids in wood shop for supplies, you improvise.
spare plywood, oops paint and time and my and the students and i embarked on "the flower project". a fun and cheap way to spruce up a town that has its visual.trouble spots... or enhance some of the historical gems.

couldn't have timed it better and get them up today. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY walsenburg:)
